Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains what Chase County Released Inmates may collect, how that information supports the resource, and when service providers or public authorities may receive it. It also describes cookies, outside links, security limits, and choices available to visitors. By continuing to use the site, you accept the practices stated here. A third-party search provider applies its own privacy terms when a query is submitted through its tool.

Information You Submit

Search Terms

A name, place, or other term entered in a search box passes to the third-party provider operating that tool. Chase County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.

Messages Sent to Us

Email and contact-form messages may be retained long enough to answer and manage the request. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Automatic Technical Data

Ordinary web logs and measurement services may collect basic technical details when a page loads, including:

  • Internet Protocol address;
  • browser name and version;
  • device category and operating system;
  • pages viewed and time spent;
  • the referring site, when supplied; and
  • request dates and timestamps.

Cookies

Cookies help measure how visitors use the site and may support advertising. Browser controls can reject or delete them, although blocking cookies can change how some features work.

Reasons Data Is Used

  • Operate the site and maintain reasonable performance.
  • Send search requests to the selected partner service.
  • Measure which pages visitors find useful.
  • Detect and correct technical faults.
  • Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests.

Privacy Beyond This Site

Links lead to release-record sources, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, and outside search tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination’s privacy policy controls its collection and use of data.

Advertising partners may track activity across multiple sites to choose targeted ads. That processing occurs on their systems, not as a Chase County government record or service.

Who May Receive Data

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be handled by:

  • search partners processing submitted queries;
  • analytics providers measuring use;
  • advertising networks serving ads; and
  • law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.

Reasonable Security Measures

Standard safeguards are used to protect information within this resource’s control. No internet-connected service can promise perfect security, however, and no representation is made that a breach can never occur.

Visitors Under Eighteen

This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may use Contact Us to request deletion.

Your Privacy Choices

  • Ask for a copy of personal data held about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion where applicable.
  • Object to or opt out of certain processing where applicable.
